Casa Axis, Felipe Pantone Studio, Valencia, Spain

We had the privilege of visiting the extraordinary Felipe Pantone’s house, Casa Axis, and designed for his studios and gallery the TSWTS luminaire (They Show What They See).
More than 160 custom-made luminaires float above the spaces. They Show What They See is a futuristic lighting system conceived as a fleet of mirrored aluminum spacecraft. Each unit reflects its surroundings—artworks, people, the garden, becoming both a source of light and an observer.
The piece was developed specifically for this space: a creative place in constant motion. In bold continuity with the iconic Space Age lamps found in the original Casa Axis, these new luminaires propose their own utopia: sci-fi, dynamic, and young.
A series of captivating episodes dedicated to Casa Axis and its remarkable architecture have been produced and are available on YouTube, including one on light, to which we contributed.
